What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment that involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized room or pod. During this therapy, the pressure is increased to levels higher than sea level, allowing more oxygen to be dissolved in the blood and delivered to tissues throughout the body. This enhanced oxygenation can promote healing, reduce inflammation, fight certain infections and treat many other conditions (see more below).
The Process at Hyperbaric Health
After your initial consultation with our Hyperbaric Technician to discuss the appropriate treatment protocol, kick off your shoes and enter one of our 3 cutting edge pods. Relax in a leather recliner (you are not lying in a tube), pop on a medical mask and enjoy increased oxygen delivery under gentle pressure for one hour. Exit the pod and continue your day while your body uses all of that dissolved oxygen for hours afterwards, healing your body.
